In this video I easily show you how to edit your email list settings in AWeber to switch from a double opt-in to a single opt-in subscription.
A double opt-in is where subscribers would first need to confirm their email address by clicking on a link in a email that is sent to them before any other action is done.
A single opt-in is where subscribers would be directly put on your email list after they submit their email address and are directed to a thank you page that gives them the information they are requesting.
There are pros and cons to each subscription method and is recommended you test each one for your business. I personally like the double opt-in because it gives you a better quality of lead and they are more likely to engage with the emails that you send them.
