The idea behind social media marketing is to take you blog post for the day and share it in ALL the major social media networks. For example, on Facebook, you’d share your blog post on your wall and with relevant groups. You would do the same thing with LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Steps To Take For Social Media Marketing
STEP #1 – Be a Member of Social Media Sites: Sounds simple enough, but if you don’t have a Facebook account get one! The same with LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest.
STEP #2 – Build Up a Following: Once you have account you need to have a following. On Facebook their called “friends.” On LinkedIn they’re called “Connections”…etc. You can manually add friends or each outlet provides tools to help you add friends, connections, or followers.
STEP #3 – Begin Sharing Your Blog Content: Social media marketing includes getting the word out about your blog posts. Traffic to your blog isn’t going to come automatically. Share it with others who you’ve connected with your friends on Facebook and your followers on Twitter. In most outlets, you can also become members of groups that have hundreds, even thousands of members to expose your content to…very powerful.
